Nihal Shaikh
Accounting Associate
Nihal joined the firm in 2023 working as an associate providing bookkeeping and tax services.
Nihal is on our India team where he originally developed his career in Indian accounting and taxation. After earning his Bachelor of Commerce degree, he decided to continue his education by enrolling in a six-month government course to learn operational accounting which led him to learning about US accounting and taxation. Since then, he has been working with US based accounting teams since 2019 helping them manage the day-to-day accounting activities of clients in various industries. He was also recognized as the Rising Star Employee for the year in 2022.
Nihal is an important member of our bookkeeping and accounting team, where he works to help our clients continuously maintain their financial information using QuickBooks. As he continues to grow with us, Nihal will learn more about US taxation and plan to have him prepare tax returns for our clients.
Nihal currently holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Gujarat University and is certified as a Secretary of Accounting by the government of India. He has always enjoyed working in the accounting industry because it constantly challenges him with new opportunities. He also likes the collaborative approach to solving problems that he finds working within a great team.
When Nihal is not in the office, he enjoys playing sports like cricket, and games like chess. He also loves spending time and traveling with family and friends.
